Units of time

Unit of time: Unit of time is a unit of measuring time period.Second, minute and hour are units of time.

Second:
The second is the duration of 9 192 631 770 periods of the radiation which is corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom.

Minute:
The minute is a unit of time equal to 1/60th of an hour or 60 seconds.A minute occasionally has 59 or 61 seconds; see leap second in the UTC scale of time. The minute is accepted for use with SI units.'min' is used as the symbol of minute.

Hour:
An hour is a unit of measurement of time of the duration of 60 minutes, or 3600 seconds.1/24 of a median Earth day is an hour. Time standard can also include a negative or positive leap second, and may therefore have a duration of 3599 or 3601seconds for adjustment purposes.

You can also check out the link on history of measurement.

Next time we will learn in details to know about the units of duration of time.

Conic sections

In Mathematics, a conic  is a curve obtained by intersecting a cone and a plane. There are three types of conics - ellipse, parabola and hyperbola.

The graph of a quadratic equation  in two variables is always a conic section in a cartesian coordinate system though it may be degenerate, and all conic sections arise in this way. The equation will be of the form
Ax^2 + Bxy + Cy^2 + Dx +Ey + F = 0 with A,B and C not all zero.

Conic section equation:If the focus is () and the directrix is ax+by+c=0 then the equation of the conic section whose eccentricity =e is given as
(x)2+(y)2=e2 .(ax + by + c)^2/(a^2 + b^2)

Tangent

Definition of tangent:
A tangent to a curve at a point is a straight line that touches the curve at that point.

Equation of the tangent to a curve:
y = mx + c

Example of tangent:
The line AB is a tangent to the circle at point P.

A tangent line to a circle contains exactly one point of the circle.A tangent to a circle is at right angles to the radius of the circle at its point of contact.

      Finding percentages

In mathematics, a percentage expresses a number as a fraction of 100.

To find the percentage that a single unit represents out of a whole of N units, divide 100% by N.In finding the percentage of a percentage, convert both percentages to fractions of 100, or to decimals, and multiply them.

we have three important terms to define while finding  percentages:
Rate: The rate is the percent

Percentage: The result obtained when a number is multiplied by a percent

Base: The base is the total amount.

      Dividing decimals

      To divide decimal numbers:
1)If the divisor is not a whole number, decimal point should be moved to the right to make it a whole number and move decimal point in dividend the same number of places.
2)Keep dividing until the answer terminates or repeats
      3) Put decimal point directly above decimal point in the dividend.
4)Multiply quotient by divisor and check if it is equal to dividend.

In free math help,  ‘divide’ means making a number into as many equal portions as possible or dividing the number into as many  equal portions as possible. It is opposite process of multiplication.

      Help on homework

I usually do homework myself for most of the subjects.Subject like Social science, English and History need reading and understanding to do homework. So spending time in reading and trying to understand the lesson is sufficient for doing my homework.

However,Math homework is very difficult to do alone even if I understand the teachings in the class. So I get help on homework online.I can learn how to solve Math problems online from experience tutor.I get help on homework in a simple and easy technique.

Doing homework online saves your time. It give you more time to do other homework as well because you are not stuck in your difficult subject. You can give sufficient time for easy subjects so that you can get master over those subjects.

      College algebra help

College Algebra can become problem-based quantitative mathematics. In the closing case, the curriculum-design assignment is choosing generic problems and the algebraic techniques need to solve them.

Many would skip College Algebra if they did not need to pass it to get the degree they need to access their career field. However, nowadays due to development in information technology, you can get expert tutors of high standard online for college algebra help

Online algebra tutoring is available where you can learn with simple and easy steps from experience tutors.Online help is found to be a very effective one.It also gives opportunity to both tutors and students to sit at their own home without having to meet face to face.

      Addition of surds

Addition of surds is simple, but you can perform operation only on surds of same order and also the  radical must be same.

      Example:  5 + 2  = ( 5 + 2)  = 7

You can see more examples on additions of surds.I will provide you a link on how to do surds where you will learn how to solve surds' problems.

Next time we will learn how to do surds problems such as multiplication of surds, simplifying , etc.
Hope you will find this blog helpful.

      Polar complex numbers

A complex number is a number that consists of both imaginary number and real number.

Polar complex numbers: A complex number can be represented in the polar forms: rcos θ + irsin θ, r(cos θ + isin θ), or rcis θ, where r is the modulus and θ is called the argument.

Example of polar form of a complex number:
The polar coordinate of - + 2i can be written as follows:
      x = - , y = 2r
      =
      =
      = sin θ = = sin θ = 0.7559θ = 180° - 49° = 131°
      The polar form is r(cos θ + isin θ) = (cos131° + isin131°)

Development in technology is a great help for people to get World class knowledge in many areas.Especially, due to advance communication technology people can collect information from website.Internet has become a very effective medium of education in today's World.

Especially Math is found to be a difficult subject for most of the students, but now they do not worry because they can get online help for all topics of Math such as Cartesian Coordinates, Binomial theorem, etc.

For getting help especially in the field of education, students had to find tutors for their difficult subjects. They spend lots of time in traveling from their home. But because of internet, they can sit at home without wasting time and get online tutor.

      Permutations and Combinations

Definition of permutation and combination:Arrangement of things is called permutation. In the arrangement, the order is considered.Whereas, combination means selection of things in which order is not important.

      Example of permutation and combination:

For example, we have to arrange a number that consists of three digits by using the given digits 1, 2, 3, 4.We will get different numbers according to the order of arrangement of the digits. This is an example of permutation.

If we have to form a team of 11 players out of 20 players, the order of players is not needed because order will not result in the change of the team. This is an example of combination. At least one player will have to be changed in order to form a different team.

Next time will learn about what is probability.

You can avail help on solving problems on permutations and combination as well from different websites.
