COMPUTING PROBABILITY ON MATHS

Probability is an important topic in Math. It is important for students to understand the logic behind calculating probability and understanding the basics clearly. It will be easier for students to work problems under Math related to Probability thereon.
Probability means calculating the 'possibility' or the 'chances' of the occurrence of a particular or specific Event.
The Probability formula is given as the possibility of the occurrence of the particular event divided by the total number of possible outcomes .
P= P(E) / P(Total)
Example: Calculating the probability of the possibility of the occurrence of a Head when a coin is tossed once. It is given by
P(Heads) = 1/ 2
Where 2 gives the number of possible outcomes that is either Heads or Tail (1+1=2) .
Students can practice many problems which are available online. They can practice ample problems under Statistics which are related to computation of Probability.

SOLVING MATH EQUATIONS

Equations are an important topic under Algebra. Equations are those which have the a combination of expressions separated by an ' = ' sign.
Students often fumble with solving math equations. The methodology to learn and master solving equations is by understanding the logic involved and simultaneously practicing solving math problems on equations. Students can do so by observing solved examples on working with equations and attempting similar math problems.

There are different kinds of equations based on the exponential value or the 'power' to which the variables are raised to as:
  • Linear equations
  • Differential Equations
  • Quadratic equations
  • Radical equations
  • Parabola and Hyperbola equations
There are ample number of online resources for students to learn and practice such problems under Algebra which deal with equations. They can also get online help with their homework Algebra problems making the learning process more easier.
